It’s been a while since we’ve seen some great new additions to Xbox Exclusives. But that’s about to change soon. I have gathered every single game that’s joining the list of upcoming Xbox Exclusive games 2024 and beyond. From intense action to gripping stories, these games are about to level up our gaming experience.
There are always new games getting announced, so I will be updating this list pretty frequently. Make sure to check back again every once in a while for any new additions that we get. And the good news is, most of these games are also going to be part of the upcoming Game Pass games as well.
1. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 – (2024)
It’s an absolute thrill to see Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 set to come out as an Xbox Exclusive. The first game was nothing short of a mind-bending thriller that got many of us hooked to the screens till the very end with its captivating narrative, emotional moments, and this rare psychological experience that I’ve never experienced in any other game.
Hellblade 2 is set to continue down the same path, putting you back into the shoes of Senua, this fierce Celtic warrior on a quest to find her lover in this dark and brutal Viking hell. There’s no fixed release date for this game, but it’s expected to drop sometime in 2024.
2. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl – (September 5, 2024)
Now, I’ve talked about Stalker 2 many times in my videos. It’s a game that I’ve been following for quite a while now. And it’s great that we finally have a release date to look forward to. For those who don’t know, Stalker 2 is a highly anticipated horror survival game where you play as a hired soldier on a mission to uncover the secrets of this mysterious exclusion zone that’s filled with strange mutants, weird anomalies, and warring factions, trying to scavenge anything of value from this land of horrors.
But it’s not a linear FPS game in any way, Stalker 2 offers complete freedom to create your own path in this massive open world, by joining factions of your choice, playing around with 30+ weapon types, finding incredibly powerful artifacts and so much more. It’s coming out on September 5, 2024 for Xbox series X, S and PC.
3. The Outer Worlds 2 – (TBD)
We also have The Outer Worlds 2 making its way to the list. It’s the sequel of the very popular Outer Worlds game that promises to take gameplay of the original to the next level. We’ve got a whole new star system, a fresh crew, a massive open world, and much more.
We can expect similar choice-driven gameplay like the first game but with more freedom and deeper consequences to our actions. Of course, there will be a ton of new content as well including new planets, new characters, new quests, missions, and a whole lot more to keep us hooked for hours! And the best part? it’s hitting Game Pass as a Day One release!
4. Ark 2 – (2024)
ARK 2 is going to be one of the biggest additions to Xbox Exclusives this year. It’s a highly anticipated sequel to ARK Survival Evolved that takes you back to the prehistoric world of massive dinosaurs. You play as Santiago, a guy who finds himself stuck on a primal Island with her daughter Meeka. Now the two have to find a way to survive this brutal land, tame the wild beasts and find their way back home.
Ark 2 comes packed with a ton of new and improved features including enhanced visuals, advanced traversal mechanics, customizable weapons, expansive skill tree, and even support for stackable user-created mods. It’s going to be an epic adventure when it comes out for Xbox series X and S and PC.
5. Clockwork Revolution – (2024)
Then we have Clockwork Revolution, yet another great-looking first-person RPG title with a unique twist. Set in the Victorian-era city of Avalon, the game lets you take control of a guy who possesses an incredibly powerful device that messes with time, allowing him to jump through the past, present, and future in a snap.
But your ventures through time affect the people of Avalon and everything around you. The game looks awesome, but there’s so much that we still don’t know about it. So, I guess we will have to wait to find out more. Clockwork Revolution is coming to Xbox as an exclusive release and it will also be available to Game Pass as well.
6. 33 Immortals – (2024)
Then we have 33 Immortals, an upcoming action roguelite where you take on the role of a damned soul rebelling against God’s final judgment. But you are not alone, you join forces with 32 other souls in this uprising against your eternal punishment.
Together, you engage in intense co-op battles against hordes of monsters, challenging bosses, and the wrath of God. Your survival depends on your numbers – you have to protect your own while you loot resources, find holy relics and gain divine abilities to defy the almighty’s judgment. 33 Immortals is like a multiplayer co-op version of Hades. This one’s also coming out in 2024.
7. Dungeons of Hinterberg – (2024)
So, Dungeons of Hinterberg is also joining the list of Xbox Exclusives. It’s a cool-looking RPG adventure game where you play as Luisa, a law trainee chilling in the serene vibes of Austria. It’s a more casual adventure that lets you do all the fun RPG stuff like snowboarding down glaciers, ziplining through lush forests, while also tackling dungeons full of strange monsters.
The fighting part is a mix of regular sword moves and some crazy abilities. But besides fighting, you will also be solving challenging puzzles, talking to the locals, and exploring the gorgeous world around you. It’s set to come out for Consoles and PC some time in 2024.
8. Dead Static Drive – (Q3 2024)
Then we have Dead Static Drive, this unique post-apocalyptic game that takes zombie survival and driving and combines the two to create this unique gaming genre. You drive around a zombie-infested world, scavenging for resources, finding shelters, looking for other survivors to befriend, and fighting waves of evil undead, all while taking care of your rides as you go.
With no escape in sight, the only thing that keeps you going is your will and determination to meet your dad again. I am totally digging the vibe here, kinda reminds me of classic GTA with a post-apocalyptic twist.
9. Replaced – (2024)
Next up, we’ve got Replaced, a visually stunning 2.5D action platformer that puts you in the shoes of REACH, an AI trapped in a human body, trying to survive in a society that’s gone haywire after a nuclear catastrophe in an alternate 1980s America. The thing that I love about this game is its epic cinematic action and smooth combat. It’s unlike any other action platformer that I’ve seen in a very long time. But it’s not all action – Replaced also dives deeper into weighty themes like greed, corruption, and the existential struggle of being human in a world dominated by AI. So, we have got a nice mix of storytelling and action going here.
10. Contraband – (2024)
Then we also have Contraband, a game that I’ve been following since its announcement back in 2021 during Xbox and Bethesda E3. Now, we don’t know much about this game, as all we have is a teaser trailer and a short description from the devs. But apparently, Contraband is going to be this massive open-world co-op heist game set in 1970s Bayan Island, where you will take on wild smuggling missions and other clandestine operations with your buddies. We don’t have release date for this one, but I have a feeling it’s going to be great addition to Xbox exclusives.
11. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – (2024)
One of the biggest titles coming out this year is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The first game in the series was crowned the most realistic aerial simulation game by fans and critics alike, but it seems Microsoft’s going all in with the realism with this next addition. MFS 2024 is bringing in a career mode-style mission system.
Imagine doing everything from aerial firefighting to air ambulance missions, helicopter cargo hook transport, and even air racing. But that’s only the start, the game also comes packed with brand-new aircraft including gliders, airships, airliners, and even hot air balloons. It’s gonna be an epic one when it drops on Xbox in 2024.
12. South of Midnight – (TBD)
Another Xbox Exclusive title that I am excited about is South of Midnight, this upcoming action-adventure game that sets a dark tone right off with this spooky trailer, where we can see a massive woody creature playing guitar, followed by another gigantic monster appearing in the back to hunt us down.
You play as Hazel, this young woman with some supernatural magic mojo, apparently going on an epic journey to unravel the mysteries tied to her family name. Apart from that, the visuals look strikingly unique, kinda like stop-motion graphics, with serious detail. Definitely worth putting down on your list for Xbox games to look forward to.
13. Routine – (2024)
Routine has resurfaced after disappearing for well over a decade after its first announcement. It’s a survival horror game that puts you in the shoes of a space explorer stuck on a Lunar Base that’s filled with killer robots and menacing machines. The game has this spooky and dreadful vibe with old-school 80s aesthetics that look spot on. But as for the story, the devs haven’t revealed much. However, it’s expected to drop sometime in 2024 as an Xbox exclusive, so we will find out more soon.
14. ARA: History Untold – (2024)
Next up, we have ARA History Untold, an upcoming 4X strategy game that puts you in charge of leading a nation through different generations, eras, and ever-changing political landscapes. ARA History Untold offers a blend of familiar and innovative gameplay mechanics, breaking away from pre-set paths to victory. You do everything in this game from finding lands, developing a nation, managing crops, gathering resources, building institutes, fighting battles, carrying out research projects, and a whole lot more.
And unlike traditional turn-based strategy games, ARA offers a unique simultaneous turns feature that carries out each nation’s actions and choices in real time, making the battles more intense and rewarding. If you are into grand strategy games, this Xbox exclusive is the right one for you.
15. Towerborne – (2024)
So, Towerborne is an upcoming action-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of an Ace, a powerful warrior from the Spirit Realm. Your mission is to save the people of Belfry, humanity’s last standing sanctuary threatened by the forces of evil with monsters lurking right outside its boundary walls. The game looks gorgeous with a cartoon-y vibe but it’s got quite some depth.
You are constantly fighting new enemies, exploring undiscovered regions, mastering new abilities, and unraveling the ongoing story of The Belfry as you go. You can embark on this journey alone or team up with up to three other players for an epic co-op experience.

16. Everwild – (TBD)
Another game that I’ve had my eyes on for a while is Everwild and it’s also going to be an Xbox exclusive title. It’s still in development – In fact, the development started way back in 2014 but there’s very little that we’ve learned about the game. All we have is a trailer pointing to a visually stunning game world with a unique art style, focusing on magic, fantastical creatures, and our connection with them. We don’t know much about the gameplay either but it’s expected to drop sometime in 2024, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
17. Harmonium: The Musical – (2024)
Harmonium The Musical is probably the most unique title on this list. It’s an upcoming melody adventure game that puts you in the shoes of a young deaf girl Melody Mecato, who aspires to become a musician and throw a grand concert. But in order to do that, she needs to defeat an evil force that stands in the way of achieving her dreams. But what really sets Harmonium The Musical apart is its whimsical narrative that is presented entirely through Sign Language. I think it’s a great idea that shows inclusivity and initiative.
18. Citizen Sleeper 2 – (2024)
Next up is Citizen Sleeper 2, a highly anticipated sequel to a fan-favorite indie game. This sequel, much like the first game, offers a similar storyline, with players taking control of a new rebel Android, trying to break free from the life of corporate servitude. Your goal in this game is to assemble a crew, repair your ship, and make a run for your life.
Citizen Sleeper 2 will feature similar gameplay mechanics to the original game. Much of your journey will depend upon the drives, clocks and dice rolls. However, there are new gameplay mechanics in place as well, which we are yet to learn about. There’s no fixed release date, but it’s expected to drop sometime during 2024 as a day-one Game Pass release.
19. Avowed – (2024)
Then we have Avowed, yet another promising RPG title where you step into the shoes of a brave warrior from Aedyr Kingdom sent out to a distant land to investigate a mysterious plague. A disease that has corrupted the inhabitants of Living Lands. Now, it’s up to you to find the source of this mysterious plague and stop it.
But it’s not going to be easy – you will have to fight possessed humans, mutant creatures, undead monsters, and colossal beasts. So, you can expect a ton of combat in this game – both close-quarter fights and ranged battles. And did I mention you also have superpowers? Well, there’s so much going on in this game and we will find out more when it drops for Consoles in 2024!
20. Fable – (TBD)
Then we have Fable 4 or simply just Fable, the 4th main installment to the long-running Fable series. However, this one is going to be like a reboot of the franchise with a new development team, fresh new ideas, and Forza’s renowned game engine. And while details about the storyline and gameplay remain undisclosed, we can expect to see a combination of open-world exploration, engaging action sequences, a strong emphasis on character development, and an immersive storyline. The earliest we can expect to see this game is by the end of the year 2024 or early 2025.
21. Indiana Jones and The Great Circle – (TBD)
The recent Bethesda’s Developer Direct revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Xbox exclusive title Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. What’s exciting about this game is that it’s going to offer a completely original story that’s never been told before. You will play as Indy, your favorite explorer as he embarks on another wild adventure full of exciting gameplay elements, including puzzles, combat, dungeon exploration, and encounters with familiar characters from the movies. It’s a promising blend of action, adventure, and the classic Indy charm.
22. State of Decay 3 – (TBD)
The Xbox exclusive title that I am excited about the most is State of Decay 3 and for very good reasons. I am a huge fan of survival games, especially the State of Decay series and this latest addition is set to take the whole zombie survival experience to the next level. According to what I’ve learned – State of Decay 3 is doubling down on the multiplayer aspect of the game, while also enhancing the single-player sandbox experience of its predecessor. This suggests that players can anticipate a more immersive survival experience with tons of new content, enhanced visuals, and brand-new features. Plus, the fact that it’s coming to Xbox Game Pass is just a cherry on top.
23. The Elder Scrolls 6 – (TBD)
Next up, we have one of THE most anticipated games on this list, Elder Scrolls 6, the long-awaited successor to Skyrim. Let me rip the band-aid right off by saying that it’s not coming soon – as far as I know, Bethesda will take its sweet time. And if we are lucky, we will get this game by 2026. Now, Bethesda hasn’t revealed much about this game, but it seems ES6 is going to take players to Hammerfell or High Rock, two of the “lesser-explored” regions of Tamriel. The game’s still in the early development phase but it’s safe to say that it’s coming to Xbox as an exclusive title.
24. OD – (TBD)
Last but not least, we have OD, an upcoming horror game from Hideo Kojima, one of the industry’s greatest game directors. OD has been in the talks for a while now but we’ve just gotten our first look at the game recently. The trailer is super short and doesn’t reveal much about the game. But according to the developer, OD is going to be a hyper-realistic horror gaming experience that will blur the lines between video games and cinema. But one thing’s pretty clear, OD isn’t coming out anytime soon.
