March turned out to be a good month for Game Pass but April isn’t coming slow either. We are only halfway through March and we are already seeing some amazing video games making their way to Game Pass.
From Turbo Golf Racing to Manor Lords, there are some pretty good video games coming to Game Pass in April 2024.
1. Turbo Golf Racing – April 4, 2024
The April list for Xbox Game Pass starts with Turbo Golf Racing, a game that combines the precision of Golf with the epic thrill of racing for in exhilarating 1v1 golf duels. Here you get to drive around in your sporty cars as you try to complete the course with the fewest shots possible, utilizing power-ups and tactics to outplay your opponents.
And if you are looking for something MORE thrilling, Turbo Golf Racing also features an 8-player online race mode for an epic showdown of golf battles across a wide variety of challenging golf courses. Or you can run against the clock in time trial mode, there’s something for everyone. Turbo Golf Racing has been in Game Preview since 2022 and it’s finally ready to deliver a dose of its full release on Game Pass on April 4.
2. Botany Manor – 9 April 2024
Then we have Botany Manor, an exploration-puzzle game that takes you all the way back to the 19th century. In this game, you play as a retired botanist, Arabella Greene, who loves spending her time researching plants. You’ve got a massive manor filled with lush green rooms and your task is to solve puzzles that result in the discovery of new and sometimes extinct plants. It’s a rather relaxing journey that lets you explore this picturesque world as you find clues, read books, grow plants, and help restore this place to its former glory. Botany Manor arrives as a day-one Game Pass entry on April 9, 2024.
3. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes – 24 April 2024
Coming out on April 24, we have Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a modern take on the classic RPG genre that combines traditional turn-based battles with expansive exploration mechanics. You, the player, take on this wild adventure to save the world from chaos. And for that, you get to choose from a massive roster of over one hundred unique heroes, each with their own skills and abilities.
Eiyuden Chronicle looks amazing with its strikingly innovative art style that kinda combines 2D characters with a detailed 3D world. Along the way, you’ll uncover the rich lore of the world and make choices that impact the outcome of the story. You can catch this one on Game Pass for Consoles and PC.
4. Another Crab’s Treasure – 25 April 2024
Another Crab’s Treasure is probably one of the most innovative takes on the soul-like genre I’ve seen so far. In this game, you play as a Crab who is looking for his lost shell in the vast ocean world. But getting that shell back turns out to be quite an adventure, as you constantly have to fight against enemies much bigger and stronger than you.
Luckily, your crab here has plenty of skills and abilities necessary to survive in this brutal world. I really think this game is great for players who are just getting started with the souls-like genre; it’s the right amount of challenging and fun. But that’s not all, you’ve got a whole underwater world to explore from colorful coral reefs to bustling sand castle cities, and even deep-sea trenches.
And while you are looking for your lost shell, you get to try over 50 different make-shift shells that protect you from underwater dangers. Another Crab’s Treasure is set to come out on Game Pass on April 25.
5. Manor Lords – 26 April 2024
I am a big fan of strategy games that combine world-building with historical warfare and Manor Lords seems to offer just that… and a ton more. It’s a medieval strategy game where you take control of a powerful lord who, with the help of his people, wants to create a thriving settlement. For that, the game offers you in-depth city-building mechanics, that allow you to carve lands, build intricate structures, create defenses and so much more.
But building is just half the work; As a Lord of your settlement, you’ve other affairs to tend to. Like going to battle with enemy kingdoms and raiders. And Manor Lords really shines in the battle dept as it offers realistic portrayals of historical warfare. But you are not just fighting other settlements, there’s hunger, changing seasons, falling economies, and a whole lot that you need to manage. Manor Lords arrives on Game Pass on 26 April.
