Xbox is looking juicy with a ton of awesome games joining the lineup this April. And while the list is quite long, I have picked up the top 16 best Xbox games for you to keep an eye on. These include games from all the different genres; we have thrilling racing games to epic RPGs.
I am really excited about some of these games and I am sure, you will be too once you get to the end of this list.
1. Deceit 2 – April 3
If you enjoyed your time in Among Us and you are looking for something similar but with a refreshing twist, Deceit 2 gives you just that. It’s a social deception game where you and a bunch of other players are thrown into a horrifying asylum with different goals. As Innocent, your task is to survive long enough to escape the asylum. As infected, your job is to take down the innocents without raising any suspicion.
Lastly, as Cursed, your goal is to deceive both and become the master of Deceit. This game is all about wits, strategy, and teamwork; playing mind games with other players as you complete your own tasks and win the game. Deceit 2 arrives on Xbox series X|S and one on April 3.
2. Botany Manor – April 9
Botany Manor is a relaxing exploration-puzzle game set in a gorgeous-looking manor filled with trees and plants. You play as a retired botanist who wants to bring this old manor back to its former glory. This game is all about exploring the world of green around you and solving puzzles to discover new plants, take care of the ones around you, and even bring some of the extinct plants back to life.
So, if you are looking for a laid-back puzzle game for a soothing gameplay experience, this might be it, especially if you already have a Game Pass, as this one arrives on Xbox series X, S and One as a Day One release.
3. Let’s Revolution – April 11
If you are a fan of strategy games, there’s a VERY good chance you will love Let’s Revolution. It’s a mind-bending Roguelite puzzle game that takes Minesweeper to a WHOLE new level by adding a ton of strategic elements to it. In this game, you play as one of the 6 unique characters, tasked to stop a corrupted king from ruining your world.
To do that, you need to navigate procedurally generated mazes by flipping tiles and fighting tactical turn-based battles with the King’s soldiers. With hundreds of weapons, items, and moves to choose from, the strategic depth in this game is simply mind-blowing. This one arrives on Xbox consoles on April 11.
4. Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets – April 12
Jack Holmes Master of Puppets is an indie horror survival game that puts you in the shoes of Jack, a guy who starts a new job at an amusement park, only to encounter his worst nightmares come to life. The whole park is overrun by evil animatronics and creepy creatures.
With limited ammo and nowhere to run, you have to man up and fight back while you try to discover the secrets behind these mysterious happenings. Jack Holmes is going to be a short horror adventure that promises to keep you hooked for a good 4 to 5 hours when it drops on Xbox series X and S on April 12.
5. Bunhouse – April 12
Another game set to join the Xbox lineup on April 12 is BunHouse. It’s a cute-looking farming simulation game where you and your friends play as bunnies, taking care of plants, managing greenhouses, selling crops and just living a peaceful life. This game is perfect if you just wanna relax, without enemies to fight, or any pressure to complete quests.
6. Harold Halibut – April 16
Xbox just dropped the release date trailer for Harold Halibut and it’s coming out on April 16 for Xbox series X and S as a Game Pass Day One release. It’s a story-rich narrative adventure game set aboard a city-sized spaceship submerged in an alien ocean. In this game, you play as Harold, a young lab assistant, who is tasked to help the lead scientist fix the ship and find a new home on a better planet.
Meanwhile, he explores life on the ship by meeting people living there, learning about their stories, and helping them with their everyday problems. And I really dig its unique stop-motion animation style, which gives it a distinct and visually striking appearance. If you love a good story game, definitely put this down on your list.
7. Sker Ritual – April 18
Then we have Sker Ritual, this upcoming spin-off of the award-winning horror game “Maid of Sker”. This game pits you against relentless waves of mindless monsters known as the Quiet Ones. You can choose to take on these monsters alone or tag along with 3 other players. Sker Ritual features old-school round-based FPS action, with players collecting power-ups dropped by enemies to upgrade their weapons and items to increase their chances of survival in this brutal world.
Each round brings new enemies and challenges to the table, forcing you to come up with new strategies, and abilities. It kinda reminds me of COD Zombies but with a bit more “spookiness” to it, which I really like here. Sker Ritual is set to come out on Xbox series X and S on April 18.

9. Tales of Kenzera: ZAU – April 23
Fans of Hollow Knight will love this next game. It’s called Tales of Kenzera ZAU, an awesome-looking 2.5D Metroidvania title that puts you in the shoes of a grieving son ZAU, who takes on this wild adventure to revive his dead father by capturing the souls of three powerful monsters.
Tales of Kenzera brilliantly combines the elements of exploration, platforming, and combat to create this fine-looking gameplay with gorgeous art style and stunning visual effects. Definitely a promising title to look forward to as it drops on the Xbox series X and S on April 23.

It’s an action-adventure game where you assume the role of a Hermit Crab, who embarks on this wild journey to recover his lost shell. But the road to finding it is a bumpy one with loads of hostile enemies, unexpected obstacles, and challenging puzzles.
However, it’s the combat where this game shines the brightest; Another Crab’s Treasure comes packed with intense yet fun souls-like combat that has you fighting enemies using make-shift weapons, epic abilities, and insane combos. If you are a fan of the souls-like genre looking for an easy way in, this game is it! And it also joins Game Pass on Day One when it comes out on April 25.

Manor Lords is yet another promising game joining the Xbox lineup this April. It’s a medieval strategy game that puts you in the shoes of a powerful lord in charge of building and managing a developing settlement. With Manor Lords’ intricate city-building mechanics and strategic gameplay, you can shape your land however you like, build bases, craft weapons, and get your army ready for war.
Speaking of which, Manor Lords promises to bring realistic portrayals of historical warfare to your screens, making these battles all the more exciting and immersive. And the good news is that Manor Lords also arrives on Game Pass as a Day One release.
13. Sand Land – April 26
Then we have Sand Land, an action RPG title that instantly grabbed my attention for many reasons. For one, Sand Land is based on a popular Manga series by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. So, I had to check this one out and I am glad I did because this game looks amazing. You play as this evil Prince Beelzebub and his companions, who plan to overthrow a greedy king.
You’ve got a vast world to explore, epic vehicular battles with plenty of weaponized vehicles, from desert bikes to powerful tanks. Then, of course, we have the signature fast-paced anime battles that will keep you pumped up throughout the game. Sand Lands arrives on Xbox series X, S, and One on April 26.
14. TopSpin 2K25 – April 26
The long-running tennis franchise TopSpin is also joining the Xbox lineup this April with its latest addition TopSpin 2K25. Now, you all know I am a BIG soccer fan, but I never shy away from a few flicks in TopSpin every now and then. It gets my blood pumping and I am hoping this new addition will be no different. Just like every year, TopSpin promises a ton of new content including new faces, legends, modes, and more!
Sharpen your skills in practice mode or go toe-to-toe with tennis legends like Roger Federer and Serena Williams, as well as rising stars like Carlos Alcaraz. Or better yet, challenge your friends and family in local or online matches to show them who da boss is! TopSpin 2K25 arrives on Xbox on April 26.
15. Zombies, Aliens, and Guns – April 26
Last but definitely not least, we have Zombies, Aliens, and Guns. A high-octane top-down shoot ’em-up title that takes you back to the good’ol days of classic shoot ’em-up games from the 90s. This game throws you right into the heart of the action; an alien invasion has turned everybody into mindless zombies and violent mutants.
You are this planet’s last hope of survival and that requires going through 33 intense levels of carnage, facing off against a variety of enemies, environmental challenges, and epic boss battles. But worry not, you’ve got an arsenal of deadly weapons at your disposal including rifles, shotguns, and bazooookas! This one comes out for Xbox series X and S on April 26.
