Xbox has just announced seven new games hitting Game Pass, and I’m buzzing with excitement. We’re talking titles like Tales of Arise and Warhammer 40K: Boltgun joining the lineup.

Contents
1. Tales of Arise – (20 February 2024)2. Bluey: The Video Game (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 223. Maneater (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 274. Indivisible (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 285. Space Engineers (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 296. Warhammer 40k Boltgun (Consoles, Cloud and PC) – March 57. Madden NFL 24 (Cloud) – February 27

I really think this latest batch of new games for game pass is guaranteed to keep you glued to your screen for hours on end. So with that said, let’s talk about the first game on this list.

1. Tales of Arise – (20 February 2024)

Tales of Arise is an action-packed RPG title from the long-running “Tales” series that is loved by millions of fans for its engaging stories, memorable characters, and incredibly addicting real-time combat. Tales of Arise is no different. Here, you play as Alphen and Shionne, two brave warriors trying to bring peace back to the world of Dahna.

The first thing you notice as soon as you step into this world is the stunning anime-style visuals. They go really well with the detailed game world that offers diverse biomes, from lush green forests to rocky mountains. But the thing that I love most about this game is the exhilarating combat. It’s a perfect mix of strategy and adrenaline-pumping action.

I also love how each character in the game brings something unique to the table, with backstories, and quirks that keep you intrigued right from the start. And it only helps that the game features top-notch voice-acting, making it hard to just skip the cut-scenes. Tales of Arise is out on game Pass today (February 20).

2. Bluey: The Video Game (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 22

So the hit kids TV show makes its way onto Gamepass with Bluey the Video Game. And make no mistake this is mostly a kid’s game but a fun one for any age as you play Bluey and her family including Chilli, Bingo and Bandit as you explore iconic locations within the show and basically have fun.

You’ll get to play the games within the game like Chattermax Chase, Keepy Uppy and more. But exploring these unique locations will uncover secrets and show references. In a way you’ll be able to play the game in any way you want, and even create your very own Bluey story. The game is fully Co-Op so you can play with friends and family. This arrives on Game Pass on February 22nd on Console, Cloud and PC.

3. Maneater (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 27

Many times we play games and we are fighting off sharks or the creatures are the bosses we have to defeat but Maneater flips the table as you play the shark with the backdrop of being on a reality tv show and you’re causing complete mayhem. You start off as a small shark literally eating up everything and everyone around you, while exploring an open world (or in this case open waters).

You’ll find resources and wildlife, and humans to wreak havoc on with the ultimate goal to get revenge on cruel fishermen that dismembered you and your friends. Meanwhile you’ll get stronger and more vicious as the story plays out which by the way is fully narrated. Just grow into a Shark Legend that stories and movies will be made about you. Essentially you’ll create your own version of JAWS here.

The game is as unique as it gets as far as premise and it’s really a fun game. I’ve gotten to play it and it’s just a wild time. Maneater lands on Consoles, Cloud and PC on February 27th

4. Indivisible (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 28

Indivisible is a gorgeous-looking 2D action RPG platformer where you step into the shoes of Ajna, a bold young girl whose life takes a drastic turn when her home is attacked. She finds out that she has this mysterious power and decides to use it to save her people. So begins her journey through a vast fantasy realm, where she meets a diverse cast of characters inspired by various cultures and mythologies.

But not all of them are friendly, of course, you will also be engaging in thrilling real-time combat against the enemies, that’s both challenging and deeply satisfying. And I must say, the hand-drawn art style in this game looks stunning, even the animations are super smooth. Indivisible is a great mix of action and emotional storytelling that’s gonna keep you hooked from start to end. This one’s also comes out for Consoles, Cloud and PC on February 28th.

5. Space Engineers (Cloud, Console, PC) – February 29

Space Engineers is the ultimate sandbox game for all you engineers and space enthusiasts out there. This game throws you out in the vast open space, giving you all the tools you need to do, well, whatever you want to do. You can build everything from sleek spacecraft to massive space stations, land vehicles to planetary outposts – literally anything you want.

And while building is a massive part of the game, it’s not just about building stuff. You’ll also be piloting your creations through space, exploring a multitude of planets to gather resources, explore new lands, and maybe even encounter some aliens along the way. Now, the best part is that this game comes packed with a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine, which means everything you build, destroy, or interact with behaves just like it would in the real world.

And on top of it all, you also get to customize your characters, I mean, who can say no to that. Space Engineers lands on Consoles, Cloud and PC on February 29th.

6. Warhammer 40k Boltgun (Consoles, Cloud and PC) – March 5

Warhammer 40k Boltgun might not be the best game in the series but it’s an absolute blast for Doom fans who love old-school 90’s action shooters. This one throws you right into the heart of battle as a space marine. Your job is to take on the Chaos Space Marines and their daemonic allies across the massive galaxy.

It really is a glorious throwback to the classic FPS gameplay of the 90s, blending the brutal world of Warhammer 40K with the frenetic action of retro shooters. With an arsenal of deadly weapons at your disposal, the game lets you experience visceral combat that rewards skillful gunplay and swift movements. It can get a little repetitive but it does its best to pay homage to the classics, with level design and mechanics reminiscent of the best shooters of the 90s.

Warhammer 40k Boltgun is set to come out for Game Pass on March 5, 2024 for Consoles, Cloud and PC.

7. Madden NFL 24 (Cloud) – February 27

So Madden came out a few weeks back but it didn’t get to see a cloud release but that has changed as February 27th this does drop on the cloud for xbox game pass. I’ve been putting in quite a few hours in this and as usual it’s been super fun.
